Cooking Games and Your Favorite Foods

Like everyone, you probably have favorite foods and there is no reason you can’t incorporate those food choices into your cooking games. Start your cooking games thinking of new ways you can experiment with favorite foods. For example, if you love French fries, consider making them from scratch by cutting up potatoes and actually seasoning and then baking or frying (with an adult’s help) the slices to make the fries.

You can also cook regular fries and then find new ways to serve those fries. Perhaps use them in a sort of casserole or top them with chili and cheese for a warm, hearty snack. You can do the same sort of variations with any food source. If you have a favorite food at a local restaurant, see if you can weasel the recipe out away from the cooks and then try it yourself at home. There are actually lots of recipes online that are from major restaurants.

What’s most important is that you find plenty of ways to cook and enjoy your favorite foods. The more ways you have to eat them, the happier you’ll be with the cooking games.
