Cooking Games and Candy
Candy isn't good for you. There's no doubt about it, but then there are so many excellent cooking games that are really tasty primarily because you include candy in the recipe. Don't believe me? Think about cookies - how would they taste without the chocolate chips? And what about ice cream? Plain vanilla is just plain without some crushed up candy bar in there to give it a delicious flavor.
Cooking games don't have to be anything extravagant, of course. Playing the cooking games is simply a way to expand your cooking skills, learn a few new recipes and enjoy yourself at the same time. When you embrace the cooking games, you're able to see just how much you can learn, enjoy - and of course - eat!

Cooking Games for Valentine’s Day
The best part of Valentine’s Day is finding something fun to make for your sweetheart. Your cooking games on this romantic holiday can be elaborate or simple. Make a full meal or just make a few cookies, but either way you’ll realize that baking is a great way to celebrate this month and share your joy with others, too. There are plenty of sweet treats that you can make for Valentine’s Day, but why stop there? You can do even more by making a full picnic! This is especially fun if you’re in school and have lunch together.
Your picnic can have sandwiches that you've made and some fruit you've cut up into a salad. Include some chips and dip and a bottle of lemonade and you've got quite a treat prepared for the two of you to share and enjoy. Then, for dessert, you can pull out the sweet treat that you've prepared and enjoy some brownies or perhaps a few cookies with pink sprinkles. After all, as we all know, it’s the thought that counts, and planning means you've put a lot of thought into your preparations!

Campfire Cooking Games

If you’ve never been on a campout, you’re missing out not only on a good time overall, but also a chance to try out cooking games you might not have considered previously. A campfire isn’t just reserved for hot dogs and marshmallows – although they are a great place to start.
Hot Dogs
Hot dogs are one of the easiest things to cook on a campfire. Simply thread the hot dog onto a stick and hold it over the embers (not the flames) until it is crackling and golden. If you hold it in the fire, it will cook faster, but get charred. If hot dogs are too basic for you, try making chili dogs, but putting a can in the embers to heat chili to put on top or skip the hot dogs and opt for a heartier sausage.
Marshmallows
You can cook a marshmallow the same way as a hot dog by holding it over the embers on a stick. This is fun, but eating a plain marshmallow, even toasted to a golden brown can be a bit dull. Instead, toast your marshmallow and place it between two graham crackers with a bit of chocolate inside. Congratulations! You’re made your first s’more!

Bonfire Cooking Games

Heading to the beach or camping out? You’ll need a blanket or a towel, some charcoal or wood and a cooler full of food to play this cooking game. You’re going to have a bonfire, and eating under the stars has never been so much fun.
Head to an area that’s secluded, not counting you and your five best friends, of course. Grab an adult and make sure you have a safe area for a fire. There shouldn’t be anything overhead or close by that might catch fire from your flames. You also want to be sure you’re allowed to build a fire in your choice of locations.
Once you get your fire started using wood you’ve brought or found – or just charcoal if you’re using a fire pit, wait for the flames to die down and the fire to smolder just a bit.
Now, it’s time to cook!
Grab a stick and thread on your hot dogs. You can roast them over the flames. Put a can of chili down in the embers next to the flames and be sure you use tongs to remove it – it will be hot! Make chili dogs and grab some chips. Then, be sure you roast marshmallows for dessert. Yum!
