If you have a set of cookie cutters in the shape of letters, you’re in business for this cooking game. Buy a package of sugar cookie mix and grab a rolling pin – we’re making cookies quotes!
Put the prepared cookie dough on a piece of wax paper and roll it out until the dough is about ¼” thick. Then use your cookie cutters to cut out the letters that spell out a particular message, such as “Happy Birthday” or “I Love You.”
Cut out the letters until you don’t have room left in your dough. Then, carefully remove the excess dough leaving the cookies on the wax paper. Use a spatula to move the cookies to a greased cookie sheet. You’ll have roll and repeat enough times to get all the letters, of course.
When everything is cut and on a cookie sheet, bake. After baking, let the cookies cool on a cooling rack while you assemble candy, sprinkles and icing. The best part of all cooking games is decorating the finished project, so arrange your cookies using icing on a piece of cardboard and decorate to your heart’s content. Present to a special someone and enjoy!
